Bolashak "500 Scientists"

The "Bolashak – 500 Scientists" program is implemented within the framework of the state initiative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to develop scientific potential and increase the competitiveness of domestic science and higher education.

The goal of the program is to provide Kazakhstani researchers, faculty and scientific staff with the opportunity to undergo short-term internships and research programs at leading foreign universities, research centers and laboratories. The duration of internships ranges from 3 to 12 months. Funding is provided from the republican budget and covers all major expenses of participants.

META University participates in the implementation of this initiative: METAUfaculty and researchers undergo foreign internships within the "Bolashak – 500 Scientists" program. This contributes to the development of academic mobility, professional development of faculty, implementation of modern educational and research practices, as well as strengthening the university international partnerships.

METAU participation in the "Bolashak – 500 Scientists" program is an important element of the university internationalization strategy aimed at integration into the global educational space and improving the quality of education and research.
